CGI has truly altered the movie industry over the past few decades. It's allowed studios to build characters and worlds' we thought we'd never see. CGI makes the impossible happen on the big screen in live-action movies. Sure, CGI can often be used as a crutch, but when applied properly it's been responsible for creating some of our favorite movie characters. With recent films like Beauty and the Beast (2017), Life (2017), and Kong: Skull Island. They remind us moviegoers that CGI has come a long way. Of course, the art of CGI will only continue to improve in the coming years, and we can't wait to see what new creations are coming next.
